This is a cake I did today. It is a two layer round birthday cake for a 15 year old. She wanted fondant and polka dots. I had lots of fun making this cake and figuring out where to place all those dots. Hope you enjoy.

Alvin & the Chipmunks July 28, 2008
Here is another cake I did last week. The customer contacted me to make a cookie cake with Alvin and the Chipmunks. It is done as a buttercream transfer. Basically you trace the image with icing, freeze it and put it on the cake. It is a 14″ round made from scratch chocolate chip cookie cake. The icing is traditional buttercream. Here is a picture.
Breast Cancer Awareness Cake July 28, 2008

Circus Cake July 20, 2008
I was very honored when a rep from Make-A-Wish Foundation asked me to help make a little boy’s birthday wish come true. I was able to donate his birthday cake. I think it is so awesome what Make-A-Wish does for these children. This was the first time I got to go to one of their events. They took this little boy’s birthday wish and went all out with it. His birthday was a circus theme. They had a marching band, horses, 5 bouncy slides and moon walks, clowns, and lots of games. Here is a picture of the cake.
